Our History
The Cunningham Family history in Loreto, BCS reaches back to the 1870's, beginning with William Cunningham. To this day, it is still a prominent name in Loreto. Jorge Cunningham purchased the cove in the late 1980’s with a vision. He wanted the cove to become his life's legacy to be passed down and kept within his lineage. He has been developing it ever since and presently with his son, Scott Cunningham who intends to continue on with his father's aspirations and eventually passing the management to his daughter Malia. The cove was originally a small fisherman’s village with a few Americans who were renting lots. Since the acquisition of the property, we have been cleaning up the beach to develop a private community. We currently have 19 tenants who have become members of our family. They have built unique and beautiful houses that have strong Mexican influences.
Our Mission Statement
Our Mission is to develop our own little town that is secluded from the rest of the world, with access to modern amenities, but not too far from a major town. A welcoming and peaceful place to retreat to for a vacation, to rejuvenate one's spirit or a place to retire in.
